Where learning has no limits through faith, hope and love.

"...and now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is Love"
1 Corinthians 13:13

Our School Vision:

On a journey ...St Gregory's Church of England Primary School is on a journey. We are proud of what we have achieved and excited for what is to come.

We are an ambitious and ever-evolving village primary school, rooted in our Christian values and our close-knit rural community. We believe that every child is unique and full of potential. Through an inclusive and nurturing environment, we provide opportunities for all children to flourish, express themselves, and grow in confidence according to their individual strengths and talents.

Inspired by our love of outdoor learning and a deep connection to nature, we foster a passion for discovery, resilience, and independence, preparing children for the diverse and ever-changing world around them.

Our school is built upon the values of faith, hope and love (1 Corinthians 13:13), which shape our children’s understanding of themselves and others. We encourage spiritual reflection and fellowship, helping children to look within, make wise choices, and value the relationships they build.

At our school, learning has no limits. Every child is empowered to dream big, think deeply, and grow in character and compassion—developing not just academically, but personally, spiritually, and socially.

Our Core Christian Values

Our ethos is based on our core Christian Values of Faith, Love and Hope.  These values are central to our children's time with us and in thier future lives.

These values may be supported and shared by Christians and non-Christians alike. We learn in depth about our values in collective worship, through prayer and Bible stories. We actively apply them throughout all aspects of school life.

1 Corinthians 13:13

...and now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is Love.

CHURCH AND SCHOOL

St Gregory's School has strong links with St Gregory’s Church, which is just up the road.

The school attend the church each week for WEDNESDAY WORSHIP AT 10.30AM, where parents/carers are always welcome.

The worship is planned and led by the Worship Ambassadors with support from Revd Gaenor and Mrs Cook-Paine (RE and worship lead teacher) and uses each of the school’s values as its basis every half term.

The school values explored in our church and school worship each term are FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE.
